For many years, North Dakota Professional Communicators awarded the Marion J. Piper Scholarship (formerly the Marion Piper Sullivan Memorial Scholarship) to a local college student. The $500 scholarship is a tribute to Marion Piper Sullivan, a former NDPC member and noted North Dakota writer, editor and historian. She died of cancer in 1969. In more recent years, NDPC has used the scholarship funds to offer an internship and scholarships for college students to attend the NDPC state conference. Learn more>> |
