Minot is North Dakota’s most engaged city, and City of Minot PIO Derek Hackett can explain how his office is working to keep those engagement numbers high. From newsletters and podcasts to social media posts and Monday morning “Week Ahead” news flashes, Minot residents are never left wondering what's going on in their city. Derek, who left the broadcast world to join the City of Minot in 2016, also has been on the front lines in the city's creation of a public engagement strategy.
