North Dakota has a new media outlet. The North Dakota Monitor launched in December. The nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization covers state politics and policy including energy, environment, agriculture and education, with a focus on stories that other news organizations aren’t covering.

Editor-in-Chief Amy Dalrymple will join the Prairie Communicators for an introduction to the Monitor and the team of journalists that aim to bolster the reporting on state government happenings and their impact on North Dakota.

Hosted by the Prairie Communicators, this face-to-face meeting is open to local-only (Bismarck-area) members and guests. No meals will be provided in conjunction with this event. You are welcome to bring a beverage or pickup lunch on the way to the meeting.

The meeting will be in the Multi-purpose Room at the Century Center. Park in the north lot and enter through the doors on that level. Someone will need to meet you in the lobby to escort you to the meeting room.
