Eden Jackson-Jones with Local Motives, the nonprofit behind Citizens Alley, will share an inside look at how the Minot downtown space is marketed, with a focus on what actually works to capture attention and drive participation. Through real examples, she’ll cover the importance of clear messaging, strong hooks, and creating content that resonates with everyday audiences. She’ll also touch on the role of AI in marketing — where it helps, where it falls short and why authenticity still matters.

Eden is a marketing strategist known for her honest, clear and humorous approach to messaging. As an AmeriCorps member serving with Local Motives, she focuses on building awareness for the downtown space through a capacity-building initiative facilitated by Strengthen ND.

Former marketing director for Visit Minot, Eden brings a background in tourism and positioning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Leadership and is originally from Dickinson. She is also a wife and mom who loves Jesus, shaping her perspective on creating experiences that feel real, welcoming, and worth the visit.
