First-place entries in all categories advanced to the national competition, the National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. Winners in that competition will be announced at a later date. Tracy Frank, Fargo, N.D., won first place in the sweepstakes competition. Alexandra Floersch, Fargo, N.D., took second; and Kris Hauge, Fargo, N.D., third.
