NDPC 2022 Communications Contest WinnersNorth Dakota Professional Communicators announces the winners of the 2022 NDPC Communications Contest. Twenty-three NDPC members earned 136 awards for their work in writing, editing, photography, graphics and design, advertising, web and social media, communication programs and campaigns, public relations, information for the media and speeches. First-place entries in all categories advanced to the national competition, the National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. Winners in that competition will be announced in June at the NFPW Conference in Fargo. Tracy Frank, Fargo, N.D., won first place in the sweepstakes competition. Pamela Knudson, Grand Forks, N.D., took second; and Roxane Salonen, Fargo, N.D., third. Sweepstakes winners are determined by a weighted point system based on place (first, second, third or honorable mention) and the number of entries in each category. The more entries in a category, the higher number of points awarded to those placing in the category.
